This two day forum combines evidence based lectures, clinical protocols, and clinical hands-on training, delivered by international speakers actively involved in research, innovation, and daily aligner practice.
Event Agenda
Thursday 23 April
Hotel NH Collection Barcelona
09:00 – 09:10
A brief opening to welcome participants and introduce the vision of the starlynr International Forum 2026, setting the tone for two days of clinical insight, collaboration, and innovation in clear aligner therapy.
09:00 – 09:10
Dr. Isabel Drewling explores how auxiliary techniques enhance the biomechanical performance of clear aligners in complex malocclusions. The focus will be on increasing force control, reducing treatment duration, and minimizing refinement phases.
10:10 – 11:10
Dr. Sachin Chhatwani introduces a TMJ-oriented diagnostic and treatment workflow integrating occlusal stability, function, and digital planning in aligner therapy.
11:10 – 11:30
A refreshment break and networking opportunity.
11:30 – 12:30
Anterior open bite remains one of the most challenging malocclusions in aligner therapy. Dr. Colino will present evidence-based strategies for successful vertical control.

A networking lunch bringing together participants, speakers, and partners to continue conversations and build meaningful connections.
13:30 – 14:30
This session bridges orthodontics and airway medicine, focusing on the orthodontist’s role in screening and managing sleep-disordered breathing (SDB) with mandibular advancement strategies.
14:30 – 15:00
Clinical Takeaways: Participants will understand how to integrate photobiomodulation into aligner workflows to potentially enhance biological efficiency, optimize staging intervals, and support patient experience while maintaining biomechanical control.
15:00 – 15:15
A refreshment break and networking opportunity.
15:15 – 16:15
Attendees will gain strategic insight into positioning their practice within an AI-enabled dental ecosystem.
16:15 – 17:00
